Applying Scholarships!

Just yesterday night I had completed my application for the Genting Scholarhip which is being supplied by the GENM. To search for the page please kindly follow this link http://apps.genting.com.my/GentingScholarship/ScholarshipLocal.aspx

To apply for a scholarship one must note the deadline. This is important. If you missed the date (for some, time limit is given), there's no reason for you to cry over spilled milk.

Second, you will need to consider the files or documents to be attached, whether through mailing, browsing through the scholarship pages, or send through e-mail. Certificates can be either scanned, photocopied, or being transferred into PDF format. jpg type file is strongly not recommended, the best way is to convert the images into M. word format file.

Third, check through your mail (of which you provided in the personal information) once you applied. Or alterntive, call for the person-in-charge to check whether your mail is being safely delivered to their place or not. This step is to ensure that they received your application and documents needed, so that you would not be waiting for a blanked shortlisting notification.

Fourth, to prepare for an interview, one must kept on surfing and doing deep research concerning the profile or background of the company or firm. Once a person is shortlisted, the probability of getting asked for your understanding based on the scholarship-giving-company can be confirmed as 70%.

Commencement fees for BPharm

I had recently received a Conditional offer letter from IMU (International Medical University), offering me a place for Bpharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree). This is a really good chance for me, as to get a place in BPharm in IMU is really competitve yet energy-consuming. To reserve this unpredicted surprising place, I myself tends to do everythig to get it. What makes me consider this offer as a surprise is, they accepted my Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology as the minimun enquiry!
Actually they treated my case in form of case-to-case-basis. This offer was really indulging as the places announced each year was really limited.
As a condition to reserve my place, they seek for my installment of RM21,440 or RM12,090 in cash before 31th of March! End of this month?! Where should I get this massive amount from as my parent wasn't rich enough to carry that loads of money! If I couldn't settle this matter before the deadlne, my place will be cancelled and my registration fees and IELTS test fees will be all wasted!
Somebody here, please point me some path to fast-loans or any kinds of money giving charity XD so that my problems can be overcomed as soon as possible. Thanks if helps were given, the person will be blessed and leaded to a bright future. =D

English requirement-IELTS

Finally it's time for me to choose which english qualification test should I take as an entry requirement for my undergraduate course for my future university. At first I'd choosen to take MUET, as the exam and admission fees is really cheap when compared to IELTS. But unluckily that day I rang my university and they told me that I should take IELTS better. As a result I was forced to take IELTS. Let's have a glance on the fees from the image (registration receipt):RM550 each test! OMG my money, saved it with my sweat and blood but now let it go in a go >.< *heart breaking*

Next is regarding to the tuition fee. I called to the tuition teacher and she told me that my tuition fee for 2 hours is RM100+ and 10 hours is RM320+! OMG (again) does it have to be so expensive? So I decided to buy the reference book and to do the revision and tuition all on myself. And could you guys guess how much the refence book shown above costs? RM100 per book! Not acheiving 170 pages and yet not color printing but all printed black and white. Perhaps the expensive price is regarding to the two listening CDs provided. Never mind, I need to get a band of >6.5 for my undergraduate course, it's nothing for me to waste such a small money. Covering both of my eyes, hands trembled, I pay the RM100 note unwantedly for the salesgirl. And in turn I got this lifeless heavy book. (IELTS Practice Tests Plus One, Vanessa Jakeman, Clare McDowell, Pearson Longman)

My test date will be held on 22th of January 2011, 8:30am. Wow! It's 1st January 2011 starting from today and it's 21 days to go and yet I still haven't start doing any exercise. I swear, tomorrow I'll do it! Gambateh for my future ^^

Anyway all the best for everyone who had visited my blog, in this whole new year, 2011, life gets better and health & wealth comes to you easily. :D

Friut pie from Delizze

This is the fruit pie of which I bought at Delizze (located in Premium 101) and each costs you only RM4.00. The pie is a worth to be bought as you can see lots of mixed fruit is being topped on this lovely pie.

Okay guys my post isn't aids in advertising this shop and this dessert. I'm just trying to introduce foods, because I'm an entire eataholic. And try to taste and tell.

Let's start with the fruit. Nothing special with the fruits. Because they taste the same as no flavourings and processings were done with the fruits. They were served natural. But if not mistaken some agar is being topped on the fruits too. But the agar taste really, em too light for me.

Next is the filling of the pie. The filling seems like kind of custard and egg yolk based mixture. Again, it tasted light to me too. Maybe I'm having heavy tasting buds on me, so there's no piont for you guys to be sure whether the sweetness of this pie is really light or just beyond the line.

Next is the chocolate layer on the pie. Woo I loves this layer a lot. It is crunchy when bite but gradually melts and softens in your mouth. I can be sure that everyone will be into this after have their first try.

So thi is what I afford to tell you guys about this fruit pie. I recommend more for the Mushroom pie but unluckily I finished it up before I manage to snap a picture of it. So, stay tuned on my blog for more delicious foods, will try to intro more foods in the oncoming days. Gracious, good night everyone. :3

Homing day :) MUET or IELTS better?

Hari Korban which is celebrated annualy amongst our Malaysia's Islam citizens falls on today. Yes, today. And it's a good news for we non-Islamic because today is the General Holiday, that's mean, NO WORKING TODAY! Yeepi~

As usual, I started my day with no teeth brushing, no facial washing and no bath taking. Yes, I'm a lazy and totally dirty gIrl, taking no care at my own entire hygeine and self-cleanliness. But that's good, you know why? I can save WATER resources and my soaps. XD

My parents leave me some fish curry on the table before they leave to work. And I just ate up the whole cauldron of the tasty curry (O.M.G). I'm going to gain 10 more pounds after this.

Arghh what to do for the next? Ah yes let's check for the MUET exam format. It seems easy when being spoken or written by someone. I bet it could drive me up to the wall when I'm sitting for it. Ahh, maybe next year, next year i will register to take MUET, GBM.

Wait, or taking IELTS instead of MUET? the formet is identified by the worldwide (internationally) but the latter only be generally accepted by M'sia and S'pore only. Anyone who ought to answer me this question? I appreciated those for answering :3

Omg!! Dermatitis!! Allergic!!

I've been doing my practical in Kuching Specialist Hospital, and now one and a month time passed in a eye-flicking-time. Still, I struggled hard to accomplish all the jobs as perfect (XD) as i can and was really careful not to cause and create any mistakes (but still).

As we worked in the Hospital lab, we needed gloves to protect ourselves from the harmful bacterials and harzadous blood. So I've been wearing gloves for more than 8x6x6=288 hours. Wow it's a long long period O.o

At first my hands tolerate well with the freaking light-powdered plastic gloves. It shows no sign of rashes, inflammations and itchiness. But tragedy!! happened after the second week. My hands start to feel itchy and inflamed seriously ><. Heat sensations kept on running through the back of my hands. Omg, skin sensitive visits me, again.

I was planning to go for the dermatologist but after thinking twice, I banned my decisions because I want to save the few pennies for my registration fees of my AUSMAT pre-U. But now the condition of my hands started to worsen, causing me feeling unwell every single day since I poked my little fingers into the glove. You should really appreciate for reading my posts, because I typed it with a really reddish swollen and old-man-looks-alike hands. ==

My friend, Sonya was suffering from the same problem as me. But after this November, she'll be leaving the place for her third semester. I envy her T_T, hahah! I was thinking to attach my hand's photo here. But due to the importance of leaving good images for all my good readers, I'll trying not to upload. JUST TRYING, who knows I'll upload it someday. XD

Ah it's late in the midnight (are me sure? it's only 10:41pm)and I should stop babbling here. All the best for me n Sonya's pity hands, god bless us. Good night all. Tomorrow will be a better day :3

Another Sunday!

It's the end of a week again! I was left home alone without following to my dad's coffee shop because I wake up late today. The weather today is totally hot and feels like the land is going to be on fire. I started my day with only a bowl of pohpia veges.Another buzy day to finish my laboratory report and thesis project :3
I was done for my lab report and the library study of my thesis in 3 hours time, will proceed it later cuz i'm feeling really dizzy after the whole day sticking my eyes on my laptop screen. But i started to surf my facebook to check and stay updated with my friends.
But then i started to feel bored. So, instead of wasting my time,I have a quick search on all the sceince things i've ever learnt before this.
What make me feel shocked is that I had forgotten most of the things studied before and they were really important to be applied in my work later. So i did a scan to refresh and luckily through this refreshment I can be able to remembered most of the topics and important physiologic and anatomic studies.
No wonder most of the olders says: Live old, Study old. This is what really to be concerned of regarding to the knowledge to be applied in your practical later. So, for those who were reading on my blogs, don't ever tell me that you are LAZY in everything. If you are still so, it's better if u choose to be like a begger.
In a nutshell, although it's still Sunday, but if the time is passing really slow, just try your hands on studying and doing research. Not only for your works or contracts or projects, but also on things that you might favour, like sports for guys and makeup for girls. Through the research and early homework done, I can assure that most of you guys can do the best in the specific field chosen.

To Further or Not Futher

Had finished my Medical Laboratory Technologist Diploma recently and was having a four-months practical at KPJ. But I was later be informed that it's hard for us to be offered with a post in this sector because Medical Lab nowadays were entirely compensated with over-loaded fresh graduates. So, I came across with two choices, two path. First, continue my study for Pharmacy Bachelor (BPharm). Second, work directly.
If i choose the first direction, i'd wasted 3 years on a totally useless cert because it doesn't allow me to direct to pharmacy. That's mean i'll have to take another A-level or Foundation in Science before proceed to BPharm. I'll lost a lots of money and time here. Amount of tuition fees total up were: RM42,000+RM12,500+RM150,000, quite not affordable if i cannot manage to get PTPTN full loan. For the second option, i may get a job with mostly low pay, around RM1300~1400 as i know. But the chance of getting hired was really really to be measured in micro's, except for if there is a new lab, and it only requires employment with only diploma quilifications. Plus no SPA approved by my college so there were not even a 0.00000000001% chance of getting work in the government hospital.
So now, as the solution, my dad begged for his frined which is the laeder of the SUPP (Sarawak United Peoples' Party) Youth Section, Mr. Siow to aid in my application in UCSI UNI. And so coincidently, Mr. Siow was a good friend of UCSI UNI's Chancellor and the pricipal of this UNI, so he rang them and lead me to the UNI to debate with them to exclude my Foundation, so that i can direct to my BPharm without wasting one more year. And they photostated my PMR, SPM and recent Diploma results and i was interviewed. They told me that i'll be informed shortly (within one week's time) that i can be accepted or required another Foundation. And now i'm quite frustrated. If i did not pass my interview, ill have to take another one-year-foundation and had to be interviewed again. And if i failed in the latter interview again, i'll be wasting everything. It's because the foundation is only accredited by UCSI, not recognized by other uni's. So, i'm thinking of taking A-level instead of Foundation. But A-level required 6 more months and RM2K more. But it's safe because it's objective and recognized in every UNIs'.
What's the point i'm being so big-headed here? I'll just have to wait for another few days then everthing will be revealved. It's no point for me to mumble bla bla bla over here, so let's just stop before i flooded my cute blogger. And it's really night now and i really need some rest after half-day training at KPJ laboratory. So hope to see u guys soon, good night mwahkz :3
